JazzFest Falmouth

September 27 - October 8, 2014

Acclaimed jazz and blues singer Catherine Russell, hot off her Grammy Award win, headlines JazzFest Falmouth on Cape Cod, Saturday, October 4th at Highfield Theatre in Falmouth.

Russell, renowned as one of the foremost interpreters of mid-20th century American music, is that rarest of entities – a genuine jazz and blues singer – who can sing virtually anything. Russell has performed with David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Paul Simon, Michael Feinstein, Steely Dan, Rosanne Cash, and many others before launching her 2006 debut album Cat to critical acclaim. Three albums later she received a Grammy for her appearance as a featured artist on the soundtrack album for the hit HBO series
Boardwalk Empire.

Her latest album, Bring it Back, released in February 2014 received a rave Five Star review from Downbeat Magazine and has consistently topped the charts.
